What course languages do you offer?
Currently, the course is available only in English.
What skills do I need to take the Food Handler Training and Certificate Course?
The Food Handler Training and Certificate Course is designed to be very user-friendly; however, given that it is 100% online, having a basic level of computer literacy is helpful. FoodSafe4U is available in English. We have made every effort to use simplified language; however, as food safety terminology is involved, a functioning level of English is required.
What are the requirements for the Food Handler Training and Certificate final exam?
The final exam is online and can be taken any day that is convenient for you. You will require a computer with a webcam, microphone, and internet connection. To get certified you need to achieve a score of at least 70% on the final exam.
How long does it take to get my Food Handler Certificate?
In most cases your certification is sent immediately by email, however, proctoring issues could delay this process if a review is necessary. Proctoring can delay your certification if the photo of your Government-issued ID is blurry, or if there is need for the proctoring team to look into any flagged behaviours that may be against the exam rules
Do you accommodate people with special needs?
The general design of the Course is inclusive from a universal design for learning perspective. Our online Food Handler Training and Certificate course is delivered via interactive software, using audio narration and additional support material. This allows for us to accommodate most students with different learning styles, with learning disabilities, or with language/literacy needs. Beyond the built-in features, with appropriate documentation, we will provide any reasonable accommodation to ensure that anybody with the motivation and skills can become a certified food handler.
What is your refund policy?
Course fees are non-refundable.
